My favourite memory of when I used to play (which a lot of others will also have) was playing against him in a Sunday morning cup match. My team was in one of the lower divisions in the league and his, Havering Nalgo, was in the top. This was the season after he retired. We got beaten 6-0 and didn't care. Trev sent me the wrong way down by the goal line (although sadly most people did) and I'd seen him do that to opponents so many times it almost felt like an honour.

Happy Birthday to a proper legend and gentleman.
Got to know him somewhat when he used to watch my mates band "This Band of Mine" in the "Two Puddings" Stratford when the East End was known for decent pubs and pro footballers weren't up their own arses.

This is it. This is all that is left from the past, Trevor and the ex players along with the customers, sorry fans of course.
These players are even more important to us now, our national treasures.
I’m surprised Brady didn’t cull all of them from the club, well she tried to but they came back as they had a value for them in hospitality.
